East Vauban Foothills feedback

    Pros: -Neat, unique scene.
    -Very interesting visuals.
    -Good diversity of resources (aspiring chefs wanting to avoid the butcher should stop by here). Huge crocs in a non-PVP scene!

    Cons: -Resource density is a little too low. If feels like there's too much empty space. Ore feels about right, but animals, trees, cotton, and mobs need an increase (maybe almost double?). It's a neat scene and I'd like to spend more time there, but if feels a little too inefficient to want to spend a lot of time there. I imagine for groups, it would seem woefully deficient.

    -This may be that I just haven't it, but it seems devoid of story and lore. What is the purpose of the cultists there? Why would I go in there and nose around anyway? The obelisk is like showing a gun in act 1 that never gets fired by act 3. I kept assuming something awesome would spawn there, but just nothing.

    It's a nice piece of world building but needs a little extra oomph to get people playing it more.

    +1 on density. this does not feel like a tier 5 scene. aside from the cultist camp, i'm running around in my town clothes, not even casting defensive buffs, because i'm rarely faced with more than one opponent at a time and have plenty of space between them. many of the zombies have two-digit healths, even.

    Did the big giant super thing disappear over the weekend? We're there now and I can't find it. Zombie horde frequency seems to be almost not frequent too.

    I was expecting something like this at the obelisk. Checked multiple times at day and night, but nothing. Seems like there should be something that spawns at the zombie incubators as well.

    Yeah I was with Vladamir and party last night and we searched everywhere last night. Something is either missing or was too obvious that we just missed it. :oops:

    Tried again just now; nada. Both during day and night. I can't find anything 'clickable' around the obelisk to trigger a spawn.

    Just visited there, and really seems like an very boring scene?? A few zombies at the village but that was all.

    On QA there were three runes on the ground right in front of where you need to put them.

    Ruins are gone, and no place to put them anymore, unless in the latest build. Also zombies seem to be MUCH diminished... I was hoping a Guildmate would get a nice surprise and they just never showed up.

    That's why I'm asking. We looked all over, maybe it was removed for the weekend? There is some indication that it was on purpose.

    I have gone there 4 times since release and have not found a thing. Went through the entire scene and nothing. So i am thinking its intended but not sure why it would be in QA and not live.
    Its a very good aspect of the whole scene.

    It wasn't ready for the live server yet, so we turned off the big giant super thing ...for now.

    As you guys check on that, you should check on the North Drachvald Spur as well. There was supposed to be something that spawns by lighting the signal fire when that scene was redone and it is still not in. Would hate to see stuff like this fall off the radar.
