Economy - Rares dropping at 50% rate crashing economy

    Title: Economy - Are Rares Supposed to be dropping at 50%?

    Sorry for using the "Critical Issues" but members of our group are seeing rares drop from bosses at around 50% drop rate since R57 launched.

    This is a critical issue for the Economy.

    We had thought this might be intentional (as there is mention of an improvement to loot) but then saw the issues with Bears, Orbs, and Creepy Dolls, and thought this just might be a typo (5% instead of 50%).

    Also, R41/Fall rares (Bacchanal Belt, Assassin's Blade, Boots of Skulking) are dropping from non-Fall locations like Cabalists.

    Here are what's happened so far:
    • A cabalist wave dropped 5 artifacts
    • An Assassin's Blade dropped from a Cabalist
    • In one hour, four artifacts were dropped
    • A second Assassin's Blade dropped from a second Cabalist
    • Five attunement rings were dropped in one short play session.
    This will certainly crash the economy around artifacts and rares as previously pricing (say 395K for the Bacchanal Belt, previously only in The Fall) will head towards 5k.

    Can you please confirm this is intentional design.

    You are correct . It should be 100%

    From the release notes

    • Boss Loot Improvements: We have made a slight improvement to boss loot so that you are guaranteed to always get something from fighting a boss. In R58 and Q4 we will be making more global changes as well as a more focused effort on mid and high level loot improvements.

    • Massive update to boss loot packages to ensure you always get something that isn't trash, even if it is just a gem or a potion.

    Thanks, @Lazarus Long - thankfully it was an issue, and has been fixed.

    Having artifacts drop 100% from bosses was not the intended economy or design. Having trash drop 100%, a-ok.
