Emily's Quest

    Emily is in the encampment in Soltown. Not wanting to trash my current character its hard to tell whether she should have a quest or not. She talks about her husband as a guard in Solace Bridge and implies that she's wondering what happened to him.

    I was just talking to someone about 'An Unsent Letter' and getting a reward. I had that letter in my inventory so I looked at it. The letter isn't addressed to Emily but someone named Zorabeth.

    Is this a newbie quest only? Is the 'Unsent Letter' a letter about her guard love?

    It is a minor newbie quest without a visible reward, minus the gold you find during its discovery. There are two places what she looks for can be found.

    In the tutorial...

    her husband is the gate guard whose corpse is in front of the gate switch.

    After the tutorial...

    her husband's corpse can no longer be found, but his personal effects are in a chest outside the keep, in an out of the way area by the waterfall.

    Do we have to get an actual quest from Emily written in our journal to find that chest?

    No. I spoke with Emily, though. Anyway, the chest overlooks one of the waterfalls.

    This quest shows that you have to take your time with exploring.
    When i found the sword handel at this dead soldier and a letter inside the house, i thought to my self maby some one will be interested to here what happend to this pure guy.

    How high up is Quincy's quest? I have spent a lot of time looking for that chest. I have not been able to find a way to the top of the highest waterfall. I seem to get close, but I run into the area boundary and end up stuck in a crack in the rocks and have to start over. I just want to get this quest out of the way... It likely is not worry the time and effort it is taking me, but it is unfinished business. A screen shot would be wonderful.

    It is up pretty high. I'm not sure you can get to it if you start by the big waterfall and the Lunar Rift. You have to approach it from the side of the fort that leads up to some taller rocks.

    Xander, it took me ages to figure it out. No screenshot, but I will tell you this, it's NOT the waterfall across the bridge by the moongate! :p

    Maybe put Quincy's body near the chest and a pile of dead skeletons to suspend disbelief that he actually carted his chest to the top of that waterfall while Solace Bridge was under siege o_O

    How about this: after the tutorial Quincy becomes a zombie. He reanimates and takes his sword and letter to the chest and then guards it. To loot the chest you have to kill zombie Quincy.

    FINALLY!.... I was on the verge of breakin' something. Like a geocache you can't find even though you are looking in the right spot.
