Epic vs Augmented Leather Armor - with and w/out Supple Leather

Hello. I am posting this for any new crafters who are wondering what the different variations from different types of leather armor sets look like. I was trying to figure out a really good damage dealing set and was experimenting with Epic vs Augmented. I was also trying to figure out which metal binding would work best. If anyone has additional suggestions, please let me know. I will be working on hardened leather sets and think a hardened augmented set would be a good damage only dealing set.... but as it sits right now, I think I like the supple augmented armor set with a good mix of critical chance and weapon damage.



For the augmented sets, I used Bronze bindings and these are the results:

Weapon Damage: 1.4%
Item Damage Resistance: 3.9%
Critical Chance: 4.3%
Combat Dodge Modifier: 5.1

The non - supple set is the same without the crit chance, and with a total dodge modifier of 5.4

For the epic sets, I used copper bindings (would use bronze in future) and these are the results:

Weapon Damage: 0.2%
Critical Chance: 5.5%
Combat Dodge Modifier: 5.1

These stats are without any sockets/enchants/masterworks

Here is the image and the stats for the hardened augmented leather armor using bronze bindings. Very nice weapon damage set:



Weapon Damage: 11.9%
Item Damage Resistance: 3.9%
Combat Dodge Modifier: 5.1

Also look at fortified.

The properties are pretty accurate

Sotaqm is wrong on at least the critical % for supple leather (it should be .2% not 2%.)

I dream of an accurate source for this nonsense. Some day.

Runing the Epic supple full set myself atm, Buddy is running the bronze / Augmented with hard leather (as he is a DW fighter)
Both are excellent and totally personal preference on which one is actually best =)

 

Hope you gave feedback to the site. I've only found a couple inconsistencies.
