Example of why the Mentality behind PvP is the problem NOT PvP itself

I would not have posted this or really cared but the comments made show how / why so many player want NOTHING to do with PvP as a result of the players more than the system. The cooment ir red is the key.

Again I could have cared less that I died, it si not a big deal, sad that I was not there to eve defend myself but also my fault for leaving it possible.

I do not care that I died not a big deal, actually funny they hunt me because of forum posts.

It is the mentality behind this, sure revenge against me is prob warranted in some minds, but clearly shows why we have no desire to have to ,and especially be forced to, deal with players like this.

I deleted last thread because I was blatantly attacked and players somehow where trying to paint me as anti PvP because I died. Not true and not me in the posts made.

I Enjoy PvP, when it is meaningful and VIABLE.

I do not seek out PvP in SotA and will not until it is fixed.

Congratulations to those who hunt and kill me, enjoy.

But when the PvP part out right dies it is not going to be because the system or game sucks it is because players have killed it and only a few of you will be left to partake in it.

Look at the post, read it understand it like it or not - I am not going to reply this is just information.

PRO TIP: If he wouldn't call people names when he gets killed, people might maybe respect him.

 

Here’s what we do. Drop open PvP and go with faction PvP. Then block chat between factions.

I dunno I enjoy the drama. And from my personal experience most people do not react like Weins when they get PKd... almost everyone throws a "gg" or "damn you cought me there etc"...

 

How bout we not flag and then go AFK? Or at least not whine about it when someone finds us? This sounds personal to me, and not indicative of any group of players in general.

 

I for one am highly entertained by someone’s internet nerd rage post PvP.

But, the OP’s point does hold water and many people don’t want to be apart of such features.

Which is why WoW went with a faction chat.

 

People will always find ways to mock each other or even insult. Like I said before, people like in the screenshot I posted are seldom. Most people do not trash talk...

 

I’d agree if that statement was slightly adjusted.

Most people do not trash talk until provoked. (IE someone calls them a cheater)

 

Regardless of the actual topic, the single most aggressive thing one can do to get a thread locked is to start calling other community members out, mocking them, yelling at them in a personal way, etc... thread closed.
