I have over 6000 pounds of weight on me, my focus is not draining while moving.

Lets hope this one is slow to fix like many of the other longtime known issues :).

What scene are you in? If it's a Town or POT, this is by design. The focus loss should only be visible in adventure scenes.

I dont see focus drain anywhere when encumbered. Twins Foothills for instance. Im always heavy in there and always full focus.

I'm currently in the basement in Kinsport. But I have noticed this outside of town in R36. I have not paid attention to being encumbered outside of towns in R37 but that is actually more likely to mean it's not working. ;)

I'll pay attention going forward and report back.

Please reverify. I'm currently in Twins Foothills of 223, and my focus is dropping like a rock...

No focus loss. Took this pic running thru Elysium Mines a few minutes ago.

Can you see your focus changing as you run? You may have a high enough focus regen that it's not showing up. Also, I think the encumbrance requirement may be higher than that. At 6000 pounds I get a message in the upper right hand corner of the screen that says it should be reduced but I don't see that in town (I know that's by design). I just haven't had a chance to test it outside of town.

@Attenwood should this work on the overland map too?

No, stays steady. According to Umuri's hud my focus regen is 0.015.

brhanson2, you are not to the point of encumbrance where your dex is 1, and you suffer focus loss. Put more weight on and you will see.

Without knowing what your encumbrance is at, my suspicion is that it isn't high enough for it to make a noticeable different and work against your natural focus regeneration.

You can see it in his screen shot...he's over by 64.9 pounds. Which appears to be too low.

Ok man, I walked all the way out of town just to check it out on the overland map and you're right, it does drain focus. Sorry to waste your time. :)

You can take some comfort knowing that I will be punished with a very slow pointless walk back into town now.

Remind me to punish you when next I see you. :)

    Cheers!

So you dont get focus drain with minor encumberance, I have to get to 1 dex to notice it?

Ill loot some more Kobolds here in the mines and test....

Just encumbered myself so my dex is now showing 1. No focus drain. Do I have to drop it to 0?

    **EDIT**

Doesn't look like I can drop it to 0.

How heavy do I have to get to see focus drain? Dex is 1. Screenshot should have all pertinent facts. No focus drain.

So the encumbrance message in the upper right will mention when I get focus drain? Ill watch for that, so far I haven't ever gotten heavy enough apparently.

When you have focus drain, you'll see it listed in the upper right hand corner. Add encumbrance until you have a movement penalty over 50%.
