extra player charcters

I wanted to try a Mage but can not see where I add another character - am I stuck with one??

 

yes but no skill caps so just go train you char with mage skills, will take same amount of time and then you can set up deck as what you are now / Mage / or hybrid your choice

yes... only 1 character for now... if you want another character then you'll have to buy another account... if I'm not mistaken...

 

just lock skill you have or set to maintain, then start to train you mage skills just make sure you are killing while you are training.

Now you can always lock all your skills and go gather a much larger pool then go train skills and they will train faster.

Some are going to tell you it is a waste of time to lock all but there is a clear bonus to having a Larger exp pool.

So do what you will yes time spent will appear same but training the skills WILL go faster with a larger pool

 

Right now each account can only have one avatar. However it's on the schedule to have multiple avatars per account. When that comes you can probably use crowns to purchase extra slots or get them in the addon store.

Until then the only way is to get an additional account.

 

Time expenditure will be about equal. The clear bonus comes in at Reagent costs. Many spells, especially the deeper tree spells, have high chances of consuming reagents. Building XP pools before training those skills can save a significant amount of gold.

Also, your biggest XP Pool Eaters are your passives. As an example, I was building 3 or 4 actives (only 1 considered a spam ability) and maintaining my pool with a slow XP pool gain. Turning 2 of those actives to maintain and turning on 1 passive started causing my XP pool to drop rapidly in the same combat conditions. (Skills in this example ranging from 50-80).

 

You could always try a Mage in offline mode don't think is a limit to how much chars you can have there.

 

@DarkStarr sad in the autum or winter(?) Telethon, we can expect our additional Charakter slots around end of the year (2016).
Now we have almost spring 2017...

 

As much as it pains me to say this... They are amassing a track record of over promising and under delivering on things they tell us.. You can add this to the list

 

I've been playing for months now... and I have a friend that is getting ready to create his first character. Unfortunately, withe the disparity in levels, we won't be able to adventure together. It would be easier to help my friend get into the game and allow us to adventure together if I had another character slot. I've already spent so much money on this game, I'd really rather not spend MORE money just to buy a second account... Please, Portalarium... make this happen sooner than later! @DarkStarr @Berek

 

What problems is this disparity going to breed? It might be super easy for you, but it can be done. If you want more challenge, pick a couple skills you haven't trained, jump into starter gear, and play outside your build for a bit until he starts catching up.

 

I wouldn't put it that way, I would say the track-record is of not always delivering what they thought they would. Differing priorities win out over what is expected. It's also worth noting you need to take everything they say during the telethon with a grain of salt, because they took it which a shot of whiskey. (seriously, that shot for every X USD... they can get pretty drunk)

Honestly, I'd like this to happen too, but things like: quests, zone decloning, and more variety in general are, frankly, more important.

 

I want at least one more for sure, it would be informative to know where extra character are on the current priority list.

 

@Weins201 and what about having much more xp spended in several schools /trees and then die?!
Isn't the XP decrease based on how many xp you already spent?
If you have a character that is a mage and a tank for example wont he loose more xp when dying?

 

make a new Deck with mage skills,you still have one character,but you can make as many decks as you want

 

The spawn are little xp thieves as it is, when you get down to 30% the whole area comes after you, or when you get close to finishing a kill. for every swing your spending Xp.
