Few things I am Happy & Thankful for, in this latest Release

Wanted to pass along to the Devs some of the things I am happy and thankful for, in this latest Release:

>The New Random Encounters – have seen only two new ones so far, The Plains and the Plains Road. I like them both.

>Making the Reagents a bit easier to see/find. Seems like the plants are a bit bigger, or stand out a little bit more from the other grasses/weeds in the areas…whatever it was that was done, it seems that they are a little easier to find amongst the vegetation. Before I rarely saw them, so seldom spent much time looking, as it seemed so frustrating.

>The little XP Tab, in the upper right hand corner of the screen…like being able to wave the cursor at it while moving around and can see at a glance how much is in the XP pool, without having to open another window as before.

>Graphics seem nicer looking in a lot of areas, seem crisper looking…and nothing has been changed in my settings, so something was changed for the better in-game.

Thank you for a lot of good stuff in this Release…a lot of little things that weren’t mentioned, that are found little by little I have not found yet, looking forward to more …was busy setting up my new POT most of the first hours after Release went live, and now out exploring.

I like positive posts like this so I feel compelled to add:

Estgard, Spite and Port Graff are just superb. I really love exploring all these scenes and watching as they fill up with new folks.

+1 on the xp bar very happy that this is in game!

 

I only saw the forest road one, which is pretty - and make sure you explore them thoroughly if you find yourself in one, as well as the usual few trees and some cotton I found one iron node - and four silver nodes.....

 

As we are still in pre-release, it is nice to see the continuing improvement and balancing efforts. I'm sure things will swing back and forth for the foreseeable future, but I'm confident the team will get it to where it needs to be before release.

I haven't checked everything out yet, but so far this is my favorite release. I can control my character while auto attacking again and mined resource availability is a lot more balanced.

 

Going to add some more, things I've found/noticed while exploring:

>The Missing Cooking & Butchering Stations have arrived to some Crafting Pavilions -- Thank You!
>Low-Level Zombies, in some 2 & 3-Skull Areas I've gone to seem to have better sound-affects.
>Resources seem to be a bit more plentiful, and I am finding things other than rusty daggers, etc. on the things I fight/kill.
>Being able to loot things from random crates and barrels is a good thing.

 

I got my beard back and my Greenhouse doesn't mess up the pathing to the Crafting Stations!

 

Remember the Oracle...
She knows when you've been sleeping.
She knows when you're awake.
She knows if you've been bad or good...

 

May not be new, from latest Release, but my Windmill turns to face the wind...cool! During "Thunderstorm" it flails back and forth with erratic wind.

Guards (male) -- some have facial hair .

 

I am stoked to have Pecan nuts!

Lol. I didn't notice the XP bar... Just the warning icon.

 

Cool to see this post. Happy the Game is improving.

 

I think the facelift Port Graff got is awesome. It really captures the mining port to Graff island theme and also flows well when I am running around town.

I appreciate the good work done in my in game hometown.

Hmm. I don't see any such xp tab in the upper right-hand corner of my screen.

 

Actually more accurate to call it "Low XP Tab"...it appears when your XP Pool dips below a particular number...mine is on constantly as my Adventuring XP Pool rarely gets over 750 - 1000. I do not know at what amount of XP it disappears/reappears.

 

I have not been able to find any pecan nuts yet. Where did you find yours?

 

Farming vendor in Ardoris had it, I think? Either that or one of the vendors in that area had it, definitely.
