Scheletons Mages fireballs damage not affected by Fire attunement?

scheletons mages (for example at Deep.. and the easy version at Mysterious Swamp) make me damages from 29-69 ... no other enemy can hit me on this mode.. (the Lich mage make me 15-35 with the fireball)

i supposed that this was because my fire resist is very low...
i increased Fire attunement to LVL 47... and Fire Proof to LVL 86... (+43 fire resistance)

but nothing changed... same thing... 29-69 hits from these fireballs...

    anyone else see that?

Try douse. Against advanced mages 1000+ hp try douse+ice shield.
Advanced mages can crit you for 300~(without douse) and they do it often.

i'm not searching a way to lower this damage... i just saying that if the FIRE PROOF skill doens't change values of hits by these Fireball.. probably something is not working on these Fireballs.

is everything is ok.. there is an issue with Lich mages.. that are weaken compared to Scheleton mages.

    ok,
as a mega-GM on fire skills do you think there is something wrong on fireballs? (there are other enemies that can do these hits? excluding bosses)

I did not do the test as you did, so I cannot say if there is a bug with it, there might be. I know they did a patch that mentioned amping up the damage from mages and archers, but it lowered the hp of them. As well, they changed some of the numbers on fire resistance, used to be a % now some are just a number.

seems also that NPC fireballs ignore first seconds of "immunity" of Torpor spell

I will submit the fireball/attunement issue for review. @Gatsu. If there is a separate issue with Torpor, please start a separate thread for that.

They never have been affected by attunement-resist, and currently the warding-resist also does not affect PVE dmg (maybe not even PVP damage).

Known issue/reported many times directly to Atos.... This is another one of those things that is intentionally disabled/broken because it is too easy to get 100% fire resistance.
