First AND last name

Please make sure that we can have a first and last name, and that the uniqueness uses both names, not just the first name.

I absolutely agree with this request!

My character's name is important to me, and as a game ages, the choice of available character names gets more and more esoteric.

Please allow for unique first AND last names so your chosen name doesn't get "reserved" within 5 minutes of the game's launch.

 

Would naming rules like allowing 1 space solve this?

 

I think first and last would be better, having two fields expands the options the developers have for scripting NPC relations as well as vastly expanding the catalog of possible names (something that becomes more and more of a problem as years go by and the number of dashes and periods you have to add to "Naruto" gets bigger and bigger)
