I'm at work hope it will be up when I get home... are the new moon spells in 41?


miss type 'noon spell' sounds like a horrible but kinda fun idea for a spell.
llike a buff you're only able to cast at noon ^^

 

But for one hour every day you're a god

 

just to be clear liked cause it was funny, don't actually want people being gods at all

 

Bear in mind that an hour in SotA is 150 seconds real world time, it wouldn't be so outrageous compared to existing buffs provided there was some balancing negative effect that came with using the skill.

 

Hmm, I downloaded (via torrent) all the new QA patches and the new Patcher_0_85 file, have them all in my QA downloads directory... yet when I start the patcher client it doesn't update to those newer versions.

It should start patching if the newer files are already in the folder, right?

 

i think there's some switch they flip on their end. launcher does a check first thing to compare its version with what the server tells it it should have. if they still match, it doesn't matter what files you have downloaded.

 

Ah, ok that makes sense. I thought it automatically updated if the files were in the folder.

 

So will QA be up today? I need to test Taming.

 

I wouldn't count on taming changes to be in the first couple patches. Most likely we won't see that stuff for a few days.

 

Maybe. AFAIK, Chris said those changes were in, so they might be available for testing straight away.
