    Title: Overland Undead Encouner - Pilgrim not heading toward the road

    Details: When completely clearing an Overland Undead Encounter, a NPC Pilgrim appeared. Normally if they do appear in this scene, they will then slowly walk to the road in the center of the scene. This Pilgrim is however is just standing at this location (see picture), and is not moving at all toward the road.
    Steps to Reproduce: Kill all hostile creatures in an Overland Skeleton Encounter. If an NPC Pilgrim appears, they just stand in this location. I have only seen this one time so far. Will obverse others.

    This seems to be happening to Bounty hunters as well. They just stand in the scene. They do not path toward to the road. This is also in the undead encounter.

    I've seen similar "not walking to center" issues before, but they have always cleareed up a moment or two after my character approaches the NPC. It's like they needed me to be close to be "activated." Anyway, this is a bit different and I'll look into it for sure. Issue #66324

    Yeah, I have observed that as well. However in my last report, I stood right next to the Bounty Hunter and stood there for like 15 minutes. They just stayed in the same area and never started to path to the center road area.

    Strange ... I practically live on these encounters (and the forest road) and have never seen this.

    Crap, I forgot to clarify:

    If an NPC enters the scene from the sides (not the 2 stone archway entrance/exits in a road encounter), they stand there.

    Have you observed that in the road skeleton and bandit encounters (when a Bounty Hunter or Pilgrim appears)?

    I haven't seen this behavior until today.

    I'm currently in a "Plains Road Encounter - Skeleton" looking at a Ecology Researcher that is wandering around here:

    Not sure it it's relevant but I already have a Survey Ticket.

    In the encounter I'm in, the NPC is walking around a little, but generally hanging out here; almost as if she think this is the center of the map where they usually go.

    This is still happening, at least in this one circumstance. In an overland Skeleton encounter, an Ecology Researcher showed up as the sides of the map (NOT the 2 stone road entrances, see map). They are standing here, and not pathing toward the road.

    Title: Plains Road Encounter - Undead - NPC's not pathing to center of scene

    Details: While doing an Undead Plains Road Encounter, after finishing the wave battle a Bounty Hunter entered the scene at the south entrance. The Bounty Hunter just stayed there and never pathed to the center of the scene. This is also happening to the Ecology Researcher, one spawned by the west side of the scene, and just stayed in that location and would never path toward the ceneter of the scene. I did speak to both of them.
    Steps to Reproduce: Enter a Undead Plains Road Encounter, finish wave battle, try to find a Bounty Hunter enter these scene at the south entrance, or an Ecology Resercher at the west side of the scene. Observe them not pathing to the center of the scene.

    The two other locations are: the rock formation in the southwest corner, I think--catty corner across the road from the ruins/bandit camp; and opposite the ruins/bandit camp on the same side of the road-- by the small rock formation and nearby cotton bush. The four areas I check after finishing everything else.

    You can also add the desert encounter to the list. Currently looking at a pilgrim hanging near the spawn point - wandering around a little, but definitely not heading for the center. When I approached her she vanished a Atavist Unifier appeared nearby, as if the zone reset to the beginning but not quite because not all of the usual atavists are present. I took out these re-spawned atavists, then found another Knight Purifier and other high-level atavists waround the center of the zone ... When I went to engage them they were gone by the time I got there....

    After taking a trip around the zone, I again see an atavist and a Luminous atavist. It's like it's doing a full on wave battle over and over.

    Finally after 3 Luminous Atavists I got a pilgrim actually talk with me here:

    That's a high body count for a single "Traveler" encounter. And an example of Elysium Illumination's incineration of a helpless rabbit (not an undead).

    I was able to observe a Researcher in a Novian continent overland undead encounter, and they pathed correctly to the center of the screen.

    Just curious if this might now be fixed (or not), from other players possibly doing these? Or could be related only to specific continent overland undead encounter maps?

    I've noticed that the merchants will move to the center of the scene on their own. The bounty hunter, pilgrim and researcher will move to the center after they come into vision, not before. Though I think they still hang out at the gates on the plains road encounter.

    I just did another Undead encounter (on Novia) and a Bounty hunter did appear at one of the entrances, and did path to the center of the scene. I'd consider closing this specific report closed (npc's just standing still and not pathing at all to the center of the screen). This is at least working now.

    Any other issues, should probably be in a separate report? I'll leave that up to the bug mods/devs.
