Details: When fighting the Ice Spiders at the location below, if they cast Ice Field on the player, the Ice Field debuff stays permanently on the player (unless you reload).



Steps to Reproduce: Go to the area indicated below in Highvale Outskirts, stand around Ice Spiders. Wait till they cast Ice Field on player. Kill spider that casted Ice Field. See Ice Field permanently stuck on character. You have to log out to remove this debuff.

Same thing is happening with Frostgeist Ice Field in Highvale Outskirts.

Ice field effect from frostgiests reduce movement by 40%... this effect can get stuck on permanently and will read "Ice Field -40% Move Rate -8 seconds). Douse and Purify spells do not remove the effect. Logging out and logging back in fixes this.

4. Details: A drakkaller, for example, will cast Ice Field, when you step intto it, you get a -40% movment debuff that counts down. Once it hits 0, it continues -1, -2, -3, -4 until it hits -8 then stops but does not go away. It persists indefinatley until it is manually cleansed via a slow-removing skill or leaving the scene.
5. Steps to Reproduce: have a barbarian caster use the NPC version of Ice field on you (this bug was only witnessed from the NPC version of the skill)

 

This issue is also happening with the boss water elemental (Brign, lord of water) in the Breach.
The debuff can only be dismissed by relog or exit zone.

One of the more annoying places this happens is in Broken Echoes Silver Mine. Only a level 2 area and early on in the questline from Resolute. Here the debuff can actively prevent you from getting the Geisterseelen since there is a 5 minute time limit. I don't think I would have made the time if I didn't have a mount.

so i went to highvale outskirts and let the small ice spiders attack me and they are no longer debudding me with their ice field at all. they ARE debuffing themselves, though, and it's missing an icon.

 

Same observation as @Alley Oop in build 1384

 

The Ice Spiders in Highvale Outskirts can now properly apply an icefield damage and slow effect to their victims, and the icon indicator showing they have an active ice field cast is now visible. CL 213847

Just needs to patch in.

Seen fixed in 1443. An Ice Field debuff is placed on the player and expires completely and is removed from the player. Also the spiders are no longer getting the debuff added to themselves. Thank you!
