[FIXED] "Goodbye" needing 'esc' key

    I tried both the bank and the town crier - after clicking "Goodbye" it only shows in my chat log.
    The chat window does not close until I hit the 'esc' key.

    There has to be some 'special sauce' for this to occur because I cannot repro it with any of these NPCs in this area.
    Perhaps we can figure out the pattern. I'm playing with the default interface settings EXCEPT I have checked the following:
    Nameplates and chat bubbles - everything selected.
    I hope to find the repro cause. Does anything change if you fully relog the client?
    What kind of repro rate are we looking at here? Is it only with specific NPCs every time?

    Stickying thread in my attempt to compile all the information to this thread...

    Have used three different avatars, two different clients. and two different computers.
    Tested in Jaanaford, Port Phoenix, Elementum, Aerie (two vendors and one trainer)
