[Fixed] Sticky Bars release 986

    Title: Sticky Bars release 986
    Reproduction Rate: Fairly consistent.
    Blocker? No
    Details: Leaving my house, the decoration bar remained on throughout novia travel, POT buffing, and then arrival in Ravensmoor. Clicking the X to close deco bar had no effect, test pinning and unpinning it, X still had no effect. In adv area, after leaving adv area, combat bar got stuck on display. Hotkeys for combat bar and passive bar were both 1,2,3, etc. Pressing number fired combat bar glyph. Entering user interface and choosing always show combat bar toggled non-combat bar to be !,@,#, etc. and then reverting it caused both bars to be 1,2,3, etc. again. This feature appeared with rel 986. Curious if this will cause ranged folk to shoot towns people by accident when attempting to dash etc. through town.
    Steps to Reproduce:Modify lot contents and then transition to Novia, go adventuring and transition to town to sell. See if combat bar or deco bar hangs around longer than typical.

    i have seen this with both the combat bar and the deco bar as well. they stay up through scene changes, until i exit to menu.

    Same here. Combat bar is showing on the screen, when out of combat. Amusingly you can use it, even out of combat. I just buffed my strength....

    they're popping up for no reason to start with, aside from the stickiness. i just had the deco bar appear when i left combat in necropolis barrens.

    It's happened to me twice (combat hotbar). Both times after scene load. The first when I entered Ardoris, the second when I exited my basement.

    Is this the same issue with the combat bar both not dropping when going into peace mode and fixed combat glyphs not being able to be stacked when entering a scene, @wizardsmoke ?

    This is not fixed in 989. I've had two different issues:

    a) For my account, any time I interact with a player vendor, NPC vendor, mailbox, or container my combat bar will show up. It stays up until I pull out my weapon and then put it away.

    b) For my wife, when she pressed "Y" to pull up the combat bar editor, the housing UI showed up.

    I'm not able to replicate this. This is working fine for me. No combat or decoration window showing up when I check mail, speak with player vendor or bringing up the combat decks. Perhaps something else?

    I figured it out... If you say, pick up a recall scroll in your inventory and drop it on a repair kit, it'll pop up. And all the times it has happened for me is when I was doing stuff with inventory.

    Not sure on the issue my wife had with "Y" and the housing UI though. Hasn't happened since quitting and logging back in.

    Any time that you are moving an item via drag-and-drop and that item could be placed on a hotbar, both hotbars will appear in order to: 1) allow you to place it on the appropriate hotbar; and 2) possibly give you feedback about not being able to place it on one of the hotbars.

    I hope this makes sense! Let me know if there are any issues related to hotbar visibility that still need to be addressed. Thanks for all of the testing! :D

    Yes and no... this wasn't the behavior prior unless I was actually dragging it out of my inventory ( as opposed to dropping it on something in my inventory).

    In https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/forum/index.php?threads/sticky-bars-still-not-fixed.156134/ I also noted the fact that you can actively use items on the utility bar that are not supposed to be usable when the combat bar is out (sprint, dash, etc). Even though they are "greyed" out, you can either click them or use the keyboard combo (shift-1, shift-2, etc).

    The restriction for utility hotbar skills that you are referring to applies only while you are in combat, and is not dependent on whether the combat hotbar is visible.
