    Is there any way to enchant a staff now? Im pretty sure i saw one flame enchanted staff ingame, but the blacksmith recipe for gem socketing don't work with staffs when i tried it with both kind of gems.

    The flaming staff effect seems to appear erratically when you've been in combat, presumably using the automatic attack which is a low damage, short range flame hit.

    yeah its strange. A staff i picked up off the lich in the sewers actually had an electric effect for a bit, but was fire after a relog.

    can add a gem to any weapon now including bows, wands and staffs

    Themo Lock, thanks for all the experimentation - I have a much better sense of materials produce which results. Looking forward to the next release which will supposedly have more crafting content (maybe I can finally do something with all the blue shard fragments, tungsten, and zinc i've accumulated).

    On a side note - does anyone have a sense of fair market value for refined materials?
