I think that is to long.

 

It could be. What can't be retained is real time or near real time regeneration of focus. If the server loads were increasing unacceptably now with the SOTA population just starting to rise then 5 seconds is a nice safe number.

It would be nice to have 3 seconds but not at the risk of a server overload at peak playing times.

 

All other Onlinegames manage to have a almost realtime statusbar, but in SotA we have to wait 5secs. for a update?

 

Which other online full 3D MMOs with SPO/FPO/MPO modes have a real-time status bar? Honestly curious.

 

The question is: Which other MMOs with PvP have not a real-time (almost) status bar.

 

I burn a lot of focus as a dual weird swords and my technique for focus regeneration even while in battle is soothing rain/tap soul while my water elemental heals me. It works well for me.

 

I noticed an increase in Focus loss in this release also. I have also noticed that there seems to be noticeable differences in cool down times even at the same location and the same MOBs. Almost as if lag is causing it. I am definitely buying and using far more Focus Potions that I did in previous releases. I have not changed anything I am doing with Devotionals, Food or the Glyphs I use. What I did notice is that one of our Guild Mates did use music to increase or regenerate Focus in Combat and that did make some difference. Were there any changes made in normal Focus Regeneration or in the amount of Focus regenerated by Potions? There also seems to have been some issues with Glyphs being cast and they do nothing. They look like they had been cast but they did not. If this is truly happening, it to may cause some to use more Focus than they should have.
