    would it be possible to have this reinstated?

    I'm sure there was a reason for having it removed, but that feature was a wonderful way to get insight into what the Developers were interested in and following. Otherwise, we have no idea what they are interested in unless they post.

    Transparency FTW!

    Wow, I was unaware this had even vanished. I agree, please bring it back as I can't imagine what negative effect it had.

    I understand the need for "invisible" looking around for things like Contest notifications and whatnot, but this WAS a useful feature.

    We could see DEVs online and poke our heads in to see those items and get a better understanding of the types of items that attract their attention and interest.

    Currently there is zero transparency on that until they post on issues.

    I admit I used this feature a lot and was disappointed to see it removed. I don't have time to dig through the forums and it was one of the tools I used to see what was going on at the moment.

    I was very sad to find out that we cant see what our Developers focus on.

    It did connect better to what subjects are interesting and helped us community members focus more on what might be currently useful to focus on for them.

    Feel like lost in the woods now... asking for the road the developers went.

    Pft! It was never to any help for me to troll the forums!
    The devs read and respond to pertinent topics that they themselves post for feedback, or they troll other threads when somebody actually posts something pertinent, it doesn't take an Einstein to follow their trail, use the "Developer Tracker".

    It's on my task list for R9. It's of lower priority than other game features but it is still on the list!

    It was removed because it showed WAY too much, such as when a forum admin was researching a specific user's account info. We'll try to restore the thread-tracking while still preserving a modicum of privacy.

    Kinda missing the point there, @Devoid. It is not the trail we wish to follow... I would much rather be able to see where they are headed in the first place.

    Just because you don't happen to find that feature useful, doesn't mean that a lot of other users didn't. The comments above are valid and should not be dismissed or denigrated.

    Sorry, I know I asked in Chat, but did maybe I miss a memo?

    What is on your task list? Turning back on a feature you just turned off? Or is there some grander plan for this feature?

    In retrospect, I think I remember seeing that (admin looking into a user's info) once or twice. I agree that it did need tweaking for that reason... better to proceed with the "lock, mod, release" way of handling it than let it remain until they have a fix.

    As promised, this has been restored.

    Certain Portalarium staff members may have their activity not display because a large portion of their forum activity is involved in tracking down CS issues that demand a level of privacy. Currently the only Portalarium staff that has this exception is Chaox but others may be added in the future.

    In the meantime for the majority of us you can once again look over our shoulder to see what we're reading!
