Fullscreen Resolution independent of Desktop

It would be nice, however not sure if possible, because i noticed a few other Unity based games have the same issue lately.......the game apparently takes the resolution of your desktop to be set to (even though there are resolution options.....) it seems its really tied to your desktop resolution.

it would be nice to be able to do like other games where you can change resolution without having to set the desktop to the same. That would be great........that combined with the UI scaling of course.......i might have tied it with the other post but since this is really a graphics /resolution thing. i posted it here .
