Gambling Den or Thieves Hideout

I know gambling has its red tape laws when it comes to online gaming but in the last x amount of years that seems to have lightened alittle which in a way is a good thing, and games such as star wars online and GTA 5 and various other online games have managed to iterate a form of gambling house into there games where players can come and play blackjack or the pokies or various other gambling games where they can bet virtual currency that does not transend there game.

Being a popular genre with Ultima Online especially with Bucceneers Den the gambling house seemed a little lax of entertainment due to previous restrictions. So now that we are in 2016 and have a new way of thinking we should have a gambling hall implemented in one of our more less reputable towns where we can partake in winning or losing some gold, purchasing various alcoholic beverages and watching some dancing girls on stage doing the can-can. A wrestling or boxing den could also be in some shady basement aswell or even a dart competition where competitors throw pointed daggers.

This I believe would encourage more community spirit and also provide a nice little gold sink within the community.

 

I think a house of chance in a town like Xenos would fit quite well. The satyrs want our coin, after all!

And this is exactly what you should do. Development of this type of mechanic does not fit into the story line and will be development intensive.

Bestie to just create it ourselves, and if you are the one to create a viable one at you town then that is more of a draw to your town.

 

don't get ne wrong weins201 I did intend on something along the lines of this anyway but it would also be nice to have a small template in play like what they did with buccs den in UO also give us the mechanics like cards, dice and dartboard and possibly even a boxing ring as it wouldn't interfere with the story line or other game mechanics and would be a nice little small addition

 

I have an iosland POT jusr north of Britany and only and going to use a small portion I would be happy to turn the Noth East Island into some kind of casino.

Awesome idea - I was just thinking of suggesting in-game gambling, similar to the games in Buccaneer's Den in U7

 

with all the clock work type stuff, it shouldn't be to hard to come up with a slot machine! Just saying, it is a clockwork type of thing!!! Dice and cards would be awesome, also you could turn the wheel of pain into a wheel of winnings ( with a body on it as the spinner ) they could make it so we as players have to fill the slot machines and set the percentage of wins etc.... (of course we will have to buy the slot machine from the add on store or make it (mo money mo money! for port as well.
