Game crashing a lot!

In release 53 the game has crashed 28 times for me, prior to 53 the game crashed a total of 4 times since persistence. I would post specs but as soon as I logged in from the last crash the game crashed again and I honestly am too pissed off to bother at this point!

 

I don't know what's going on, the game gets stuck every time I try to enter some towns and crashes... I fell your pain.

Is anyone working on this issue?

 

I had the same issue last night as well. Looks like it might be graphic config issue.

Before you log in, go to option and change your graphic level to fastest. After you log back in, set it to your usual settings.

You should post this in critical issues along with the output of /bug. — AFAIK all crashes are automatically reported back, including Steam Players - but if you are manually killing the process because it is not responding - that isn’t reported.

 

@Pawz I think we can all imagine how annoying that would be - have you considered removing sota and completely reinstalling it? I know when I suddenly had a bunch of blue screens and all sorts, this fixed me.

The latest patch seems to have fixed the crashing, at least so far.
