Game freezes when exiting to menu from within a scene at 96% loaded

This has been happening for a few weeks now, but I was hoping that it would stop when the new release came out. Exit to menu and wait, the menu load screen freezes up at 96%. I wait a couple of minutes then usually have to kill it with task manager. If I just go to bed, it will be gone by the morning. So I am not sure how long it takes to close by itself.

In this particular case, when I tried to go back into the game I noticed that an update was queued. This has happened to me without an update being present also.

I logged back in after the update loaded and got the bug template for completeness.

The same thing happened today to my avatar Kit Murphy. Logged in and went to oracle and did the daily test. Then logged out in place and the screen locked up at 96%

This time I had logged in to Artemis and taken the test at the oracle to get my 500 gold. I also summoned a pet, then in a few seconds I dismissed the pet. Then, I was logging back to the menu when the screen froze at 96% for over a minute.

 

The same thing happened 30 minutes later, on the next avatar on this account. After I relogged with Artemis to get the /bug data I went to the next alt on that account, June. June did the oracle test and summoned a pet and dismissed the pet. When June exited to menu, the game froze up at 96%.

I killed sota with task manager and logged back in to June to get this debug.

The same thing happened to my alt Porsche on Thursday. After going to the oracle to take the test and summoning and dismissing a pet, I logged out to menu. The logout hung up at 96% so I used task manager to kill sota.
