Game locks up after entering Harvest

I noticed the new quest tracking notifications in upper left below my name so decided to try to complete the quests and see how these new hints worked. I was able to complete the part of one quest where I gave stanleys letter to the guard captain in ardoris. The quest notice disappeared for that part of that quest. There is no new notice there about visiting the man and woman in the ardoris castles. Siranto and Khasi. I guess that part is merely a "suggestion".

Next, I tried to complete a step of a quest by going to harvest. After I entered Harvest and noticed that the town crier and banker are not near the entrance I tried to walk straight so I could check with them then go to the docks for a boat to Norguard. After I walked a couple of hundred meters the game froze up so bad that I eventually had to kill it from the task manager and restart it.

After I finished writing up this new thread, I went back to the game. I was there in Harvest, so I walked forward to continue trying to finish the quest. The game immediately crashed. This time it crashed and a dialog popped up. It said there was a crash log available if you need it.

 

I restarted the game with "resume", appeared back on the road in Harvest, typed slash bug to get the location information, walked forward a couple of steps and the game crashed again. It generated the crash log again. Let me know if you want me to send the crash log.

Crashed again. This time after I resumed, I backed up a few meters. Didn't crash. Was able to capture the location with /bug. then, when I walked forward, I got to about the same spot that was crashing earlier, but this time I crept along the right side of the road. Hoping to sneak by the crash spot. Crashed anyway.

This time, after I "resumed" into Harvest road I actually walked back out of Harvest to the overworld. That worked normally without a crash. Then, I re-entered Harvest. I walked back down the road, past the first house with a vendor, over a little wooden bridge and noted that I was almost to the point I was crashing earlier. I made another /bug report. Then when I proceeded under the rocky arch over the road, it crashed again. This time I was staying all the way to the left trying to "sneak through". I guess it is under the rocky arch that I have been crashing each time. Arch evil.

I logged back in and resumed. This time, I backed up and went back over the bridge. I turned right and followed that road along the river. I was able to enter Harvest without crashing on the next road. Apparently the crash is just under the archway after the wooden bridge but it doesnt crash when you enter from the other road.

 

I continued to the docks and tried going to estgard on a boat. In estgard the game crashed again. Since this is more quest related I am making a new bug report in the quest channel on this part of the problem.

We ask to please try retesting this once patch 476 releases to see if this improves the situation for you?

 

Did a fair amount of interaction in both Estgard and Harvest with no lockups like before.

 

Went back to harvest today and was able to proceed over the wooden bridge and under the stone archway without locking up or crashing. Thanks for fixing this.
