Game Server Down Again

got NW issues, cannot login again.
We had years without issues, and now we get them every week :-(

 

Yes I confirm, I got disconnected. Kicked out and now the login is down.

 

Same....

I think I'm done for the night anyway.

 

Don't know if coincidence but my whole pc bluescreened when the servers went down, as I restarted the pc and tried to log on and saw the maintainence message. Blue screen message was somethimng about trying to recover video driver from an unexpected error

 

2 issues there, just coincidence I guess..

 

It' s not exactly a down, it seem a ddos but can also be the connection server issue has been fixed but not another issue connected to it. Anyway it's just 5 min i have the disconnection simble, i can move, i can attack but can't loot or gather or open containers.

I guess the switch is confused again, not sure why they keep using that broken switch... Replace the damn thing already.

 

Pretty awesome you can state its a DDOS without actual having access to the network equipment ..

 

for me the game did hang (NW issues, no feedback from other players/mobs) AND the login server is down too

 

My observation was I tried to interact with something and got the 'X' network icon.

I had to force close the game.

Good time to ask, can someone confirm whether the 'login que position' is actually valid or? A lot of online games use this, though it's rarely accurate or relevant.
And for some, it flashes up when there is no que at all (FFXIV did that).

I only see it after there is a server downtime. Presumably here it is accurate and that is the actual amount of people trying to get back in?

Do we just stay in que and wait, or will it not automatically connect?

 

I said it seem a ddos effect, that mean high and growing latency till you can do nothing.

 

As stated on the livestream, they are using a semi broken Switch as the main switch currently and are planning to swap the main with the backup switch some time soon. Now is a good time to do that @Chris

Or Amazon cloud crapping up again.

Greetings all I am at same point. Got message that no server available for this service. Tried again and got login queue position 61 but it is not counting down. They should move the login server to a hosted service or get the redundancy up. Anyway I am here waiting. I just hope some one is monitoring the connection.

 

I refuse to paint more doors while its down this Sunday (I am out of paint and home depot isn't open yet)

Didn't this happen last Sunday as well around late morning/early afternoon?

And if it is only a switch, with all due respect, it isn't hard or expensive to replace it. If anyone at our company let any service be disrupted due to a known issue with a switch, they'd be in front of the board explaining why they didn't swap it within five minutes, or at least use an automated fail over.
