SotA is the first game where I have read and followed the forums regularly and so it was a new experience for me to get to “know” community members by their writings. Over the past 4 years many have come and gone, and some who have gone I miss because I really enjoyed reading their contributions. Three that come to mind off the top of my head in chronological order of when I started following them are: CaptainJackSparrow: An odd candidate perhaps. Anyone remember him? He used to post during the early releases and he wrote wittily in the third person. He stopped posting around the time when you had to spend $5 to post in the forum. I don’t think he ever purchased or played the game, but his feedback was fun to read. Budner: He gave me a reason to laugh every day. (EDIT: I think he merely changed his profile name and went underground but he isn't making frequent jokes any more) Baron Drocis Fondorlatos (BDF): I could never play the game he wanted because it would be much too hard. And his main concern was the state of PVP, which doesn’t affect me because I don’t PVP. But his articulate posts were a pleasure for me to read, and I enjoyed his intelligent arguments. I recently visited his old POT Rat’s Nest (surprised that it was still there) and was sad to see it deserted and empty, the wonderful maze of row houses gone. Lucky for me, other posters I enjoy are still around, but I still miss some of the ones who have gone, many of whom I haven’t mentioned here.
