    Hello
I have been farming for almost 2 weeks now playing with planting beds and it seems to me i was getting a yield of about 8 garlic per plant. I wen to harvest today and i was getting a yield of 3. Even from my crops in the green house. I watered them 3x+. Not sure if the "bugs" have been eating my crops or what.

    bug report it.

if it is a bug they will confirm if not they will tell you

Asking here gets you nothing but guesses by other players who have no real answers

I just planted some garlic recently. Watered 4 times total (twice during planting, and 2 more times afterwards). My yield was the same as the OP, with an average of 5 to 8 per plant. Seemed a bit low compared to Nightshade and Mandrake which typically yields about 15 on average when properly watered.

The average yield for garlic is eight when fully watered, the yield may seem low when compared to nightshade & mandrake until you consider the price of the seeds.

Yeah i have noticed for the most part seeds that cost 16g yield about 16 and seeds that cost 8g yield about 8 per plant. With the exception of pumpkins that seem to yield about 4.

I am curious for agriculture changes today and hope I will have motivation to plant again.
Garlic is allways a problem to me to water it 3 times because of the short timeframe.

    Then grow it outside.... ;)
Use your greenhouse to grow longer term crops.

    I grow outside ;-)
I only can play in the evening in a 24h rythm.
The 16hr seeds are organizable, shorter would need me to login early in the morning before work.
Well i am a player and learned to not take it to serious while playing.
Side note: this is why playing with people who take it to serious stresses me ;)

On a plant with an 8 hr cycle, you have UP TO 16 hrs for the next water.
You just have to get a water in before the cycle ends.... ;)

Then do what I do and plant indoors. :p That way there is plenty of time to water.
If you do the math then IF you have the space then a casual player on a more 24hcycle will get more yield indoors than outdoors since missing a watering makes such a difference.

@FrostII I know, I need minimum a 24h cycle, for the 16/32 hrs it's OK ,16 is too short for me.
Even if I plant before logging out I am not back in 16hrs. I just can play 2-3 hours in the evening.

Garlic indoors is maybe a method, I just tried it 1st time and it takes 3 weeks :p

@FrostII well its 0.1 growth factor, instead of 1 (or 2x for greenhouse) and i tried to grow mandrake and nightshade in a row when no row glashouses exist yet.
I remember it was around 20 days, but you can do the math 480 hrs / 24hrs = 20 days ;)

But Garlic then us just 10 days :D

Garlic is 24 hrs outside, but if you're on a Row lot there's precious little outside space for pots.

Or, you can just find a good harvest spot in the wild for garlic and skip the growing altogether. :(
