    Title:
Getting party member into the same instance is HARD

    Reproduction Rate:
Unclear but it is happening a lot more lately.

    Blocker?
    No, but it sucks.

    Details:
Over the last few releases I feel like there has been work done around who you can teleport to and how toons in multiple instances are handled. As a side effect its gotten really hard to get into the same copy of the zones we play in.
Things I try that now don't consistantly work:
    1) all switch to open
    2) exit scene and re-enter after party is formed
    3) have 1 person in the scene and rest exit to Novie and follow the shield
    4) lots of random logging in and out, switching scenes, switching modes(open to party to open)

    Steps to Reproduce:
Scatter across Novia, group up and try to get together in 1 place. The last "place" I struggled with was Diamond fields.

Another thing to check - open the game options menu and go to the multiplayer tab - check in the bottom right corner for the release number and make sure all party members are patched to the same number.

oh dont get me started. If the game can let me play while its not up to the proper version why can't it downlaod the patch while I play and then just do the update onces I'm logged off?

Because all sorts of exploitish things can be done when one player is on a client pre-bug fix with another post-bug fix. Ensuring you are on the same patch when playing together prevents this from happening.

FACT: Right now I can play with an old version.

I'm not commenting about changing that.

    my comment:
Why not dl the patch in the background instead of waiting for someone to logoff.
