GM 10% Bonus Not Working or Not As Explained

A lot of people have said having a GM in party will allow you to raise a skill using 10% Less XP. I have done some testing and it is either bugged or It needs to be explained to the community.

2 New Toons both with 10 Polearm skill Toon 1 49,999 XP Pool Toon 2 50,002 (closest we could get the pools)

Toon 1 was out of party Toon 2 had a GM polearms in party with them

Toon 1 No GM In Party


lvl 10 > 60 consumed 26715 XP


Toon 2 with GM Polearm in party


lvl 10 > 60 consumed 26603 XP


Considering a margin of error and that fact that there is not a 10% difference either a good chunk of the community are wrong and spreading misinformation, It doesnt work at low levels, Its not working.

Can we get a clarification on if this is how the GM skill bonus works or if it is bugged

 

you dont use 10% less Exp, the Skill that is receiving the Boost Trains 10% Faster than Without The GM Apprenticeship Bonus

 

At those Lower levels, The Difference Isnt really Noticeable, Its only when you get to Say.... 70 +, You notice the skill Starts to Train Faster

 

But on 2nd Glance, i can see where your Question Has Validity... Hmm.. perhaps Some Clarification From @Chris Is In order?

 

I think i only accelerates training, not actually saving exp from pool.

 

There were a lot of people in Nobles chat who stated it took 10% XP to train skills and there is an event in game that promotes and says it takes 10% less XP.

I didnt think it took less XP but did this test because there were a good chunk of the community who said they were told specifically by @Chris that is uses 10% less XP and this is an important part of the system that needs to be explained its not about Min Maxing in is about knowing an important part of the system
