Going on stike until stacking is fixed

How this hasn't been fixed yet is unbelievable to me, I thought we would have to suffer through it for the weekend but no almost a week later it's still broken. Not only does stacking not work, it makes your abilities weaker right now if you try to stack. how this hasn't been immediate prio is unreal.

I refuse to play until it's dealt with GG.

Its actually not making it weaker, just the tooltip on the buff under your name is wrong, but if you look at your paperdoll, you can see it is working.

 

LikeMac2 said, and Steevodeevo linked, only the buff info shows it wrong, but EVERYTHING else confirms that you are getting the true value from your stacked buff. This is something that has been tested and reported by many players.

 

Even if it's just a visual glitch, I still want them to fix it now and not wait for the next release.

 

I stopped playing because of the Hitching/Lag in the game. I can deal with minor visual issues, but when the performance of the game gets worse with every release, it makes it hard to want to play the game. Also, it makes no sense, as they had it nearly hitch free on QA. I waited like four months for the devs to address the issue and it remains as bad as, if not worse, than release 54(when hitching got really bad.) The sad thing is that they haven't even given us any information as to what the problem is, when it might be fixed, if it can be fixed. I will probably log back in every once in a while to maintain my account, but due to the lack of attention to one of the most fundamental aspects of the game, I've decided that I'm phasing out playing the game, and looking for it's replacement. I'm tired of being disappointed every release.

 

Oh...and don't forget that they added a new effect for Purify, while they left Purify broken. Why add new benefits to a skill and not actually fix it so that players can use it?

 

Because of hitching, the majority of my gameplay consists of just logging in to collect 500 gold from the Oracle in order to pay lot taxes.

 

Are you still having those issues?

 

I don't want to be that guy, but I've been playing for like 3 months and have gotten hitching in I think 2 instances. Both were in large UT groups where the person who initialized the instance had a poor connection and lost connection resolving the issue at some point.

 

Interesting to think someone else poor connection could be causing problems for me.

 

It seems (and it is an impression based on playing with groups and having different people as the lead everytime) that once someone opens an instance, especially in private mode, everyone else in the party is leeching from his instance, so the poorer the leads connection, the more issues you encounter. I have been playing hitch free since r54, not a single time have I experienced hitch since, but I rarely group with a party leader with a poor connection.

 

I have major hitching playing on my own. What is your point?

I fully agree and understand the frustration, the worse part is that the devs are not saying a word about this major problem. My dead line will be R59, if it is still not fixed, I will just quit playing.

 

Why? Its a tooltip issue?
If stats were actually lower and it affected gameplay I'd be holding a picket sign right next to you.
But its a display bug. Stack that 6-stack enlightenment with confidence!

 

And they haven't said anything about it since it started.

Some releases the issue is bad for me, some release it doesn't happen at all. I always think they fixed it until it comes back the next release. Generally frustrating.
