    Hello,
    I installed the Beta test client for the first time today and when I logged on, I got a message that there was a gold give-away. Gold increased by 50k - is that "normal" for a first log in on the test, is that R37 related or is it because its Holiday season?

    I can't remember if it started in R36 QA or earlier, but the devs started giving players a large random amount of gold every day they logged into QA. This gold is just to play around with on the QA server. It is separate from the live game, so you don't get to keep it.
