    So, Ultima Online pub16 brought some interesting changes, one being GGS

    GGS is a secondary system which monitors the random-based skill gain system, and issues corrections to reward you with experience where you should have according to your odds, but had bad luck for a while.

    The same principle can be applied to crafting failure, to ensure fairness and fully obviate conspiracy theories. It may also reduce the 'streak-i-ness' if that is a real thing.

    ELI5: We can put bumpers on the bowling lane to make sure you hit a pin. We don't need to change bowling.
