Heart of Sorrows goofiness with hiding helmet

Heart of Sorrows showing on leather armor, not showing on Chain armor

When I open my paper doll, and start to drag HoS off my character, my helmet disappears. Oh, and I'm bald (which I'm not). When I put HoS back (do not put it into my inventory, its still floating on my mouse cursor), my helmet does not reappear. Then, to make it even more interesting, I right click on my helmet and say 'Hide" (which is the only option), and my helmet reappears!. So then I right click and say show helmet, my helmet remains showing, and everything is back to normal.

I asked some guildies to try it on a normal necklace and they do not report the same behaviors. So it seems isolated to HoS
