Help! Not new player; Cannot assign Glyphs

I played last year and decided to wait a while for more updates. Well a year has gone by.

My character has basic stats up to 50 or so.

Pressing 'T' while weapon equipped does not unsheathe weapon.
Pressing 'K' and moving glyphs down to hotbar doesn't work. Says 'unable to assign'
Pressing 'Y' and creating decks and equipping them does not work.

I went to Soltown trainers and spoke to Varren and other trainers. Talking to Varren made him repeat the newbie decks and free attack... welp, I got 400 gold for it... but I still can't use combat or hotbar.....

Ergh.

 

Your hot keys are assigned in your drop down menu. However the ones you are using are not assigned to those letters by default.

I suggest you watch some videos about setting up Combat Decks.
Skeggy has several videos that may be of help.
