Heraldry

Ello everyone!

I had a question on heraldry. Does it only get implemented each new release once you approve? Or is it something that just gets accepted and appears in game after a while?

I dont care either way I was just curious. I added mine only to find my heraldry gear didnt have it displaying yet.

 

Once it is approved, it appears in-game immediately. The technology is living in the cloud so it doesn't require a patch or release to update blazons in-game. Note: you will need to re-login to see it as the data is gathered on login.

What I've found is that the Founder Heraldry items don't show the heraldry at all; wearing them directly has a blank face. However, using a Pattern (either one of the normal ones, or a Eternal one from salvaging your Founder items) on another item does apply both the look of the armor AND the heraldry.

@DarkStarr Are the Founder Heraldry items supposed to show our arms without using a pattern? That would be MUCH nicer than having to apply one of the limited patterns.

 

No. They will not show unless you use a pattern at a crafting table. Applying a pattern at a crafting table is what tells the game you have a blazon that is ready to be shown.

 

So the heraldry armor that i got as a pledge will never have it applied until i break it down and re craft the armor?

 

Nevermind, in re-reading the above i think i understand the process. Apply the pattern TO the pledge armor? ill try that when i get off.

 

Its starter level gear. You can apply a pattern to it but why would you? Much better to salvage it for the eternal pattern and use that on some good gear.

 

I think patterns can *only* be applied to crafted armor, but I didn't test this. I just bought a cheap set to use it on.

 

FWIW, I tried applying the pattern to the heraldry chain chest piece and the table wouldn't recognized it as a "crafted" piece.

 

For my starter level avatar ! but yeah ill probably see if one of our guys or gals can craft something for me. I was just curious is all. Been away a bit and am still getting fully caught up with all yall have done in the last few releases! Holy cow btw. Great work.

So how do you get more of the "Use once" patterns? For like making 50 Guild Cloaks.. Is there a craftable pattern to use for this?

 

I want to make a ton of my heraldic stuff as well someday soon. Can anyone comment on this?

My suspicion is that there will be a message at the top of the submission page... This is where the status of the submission is displayed.

 

I got an email from support.

 

I did not get an email but my page says done and I found it in my bank but not happy with it since they imprinted the background ;-)

I do not know how to submit it without .
