Please visit the links to the College of Arms. Read the rules there, please.

I would like to thank Adiun and Coren for making this happen and allowing me to ride along!
    Thanks!

Here are the colors you may use.
    These are reference color values.
If your shades don't match exactly, that's fine.
As long as we can tell what color it is, you're probably fine.

Great. I'll reserve a spot for when you have a final design.

Here is my coat of arms: it represents the polar nights of north (when the sun doesn't rise at all), the aurora borealis in the bottom, and our brightest star on top, the pole star. Black / silver. Winter is coming, brace yourselves! :)

A humble beginning, but I think it will work!

I plan on using my family crest also. Go to this link for 475px version: http://s24.postimg.org/v5twiaahx/Haupt_Crest.jpg

EDIT: After researching grave sites, death records, historical texts, and a family tree made by my grandfather, I discovered that this is almost certainly not my crest in any way. So, I'll change it in the future.

    Silly question,

Is there a specific program that you're using to generate/create the crests?

I hacked mine together in Paint, but there are generators on the web. No good ones that I could find.

    Nice stuff! Heraldry is great!

I'm sure anyone wanting a heraldric design , if they didn't want to tackle it themselves, could also ask a friendly-community artist for help!

We certainly can just make one up!
I would think the only issue might be if we're trying to impersonate a real person, which we aren't.
    This is fantasy.

I'll mark you down as one amber cicada on black!

edit: I used the square image for the last update, but I'll go in and change it to the shield.

Well I don't have one 'finalized' yet.. I'm going to have a personal one.. KoNB will have one and then I'll probably do a version with both for my personal use.

What I do know right now is that mine will likely be a gold eagle (or 3) with red & white. The guild's will have a red dragon with white and blue.

What I haven't worked out is the style. I have samples but I think it'd be premature to post right now.

I look forward to seeing all of them. I'll add individual and guild and taverns, and whatever else has a symbol.

Depending on how detailed the game presents the family crests, I may end up swapping mine out for one with less detail once we get the ability to upload them into the game.
