Highvale Outskirts- Vertas Elves

i wanted to leave feedback that I was a bit confused when the Game lives that attacked Highvale are called Vertas Elves. Perhaps in the revamped truth quest this will be clarified but so far the Vertas elves (Kiakis & co) were not prone to violence like the "dark" Elves. Even the other (Artifice) fraction didn't resort to open war.
Unless there's more lore to be found in the game this is confusing. Possible explanations:
- radical fraction after Bloodvale massacre
- dark elves posing as Vertas elves, this should be revealed in a quest
- humans mix up elves, but then the avatar should be able to find out...

The background given by the highvale refugees (guards) did not really help me make sense. For new players it will be even more complicated

 

This has been addressed. I changed the names of the Vertas Elves in the scene to Obsidian Elves. There are convos that discuss the difference a bit between the two, with Vertas being friendly and the Obsidian not-so-much. It was my mistake. I'm still getting used to figuring out who are the good guys and who are the bad guys. I'm more of a gray guy, myself.

 

Ooh, good name! "Dark" is so boring in comparison, and hopefully the O-word implies a bit more than that they're just grumpy.

 

Thank you @Puuk , I guess the Vertas and Bloodriver Elves are officially the "peaceful" ones... then there is Notus (of the Vertas group) who is a bit less peaceful but that only becomes apparent at the end of the truth quest.

 

Could you / someone please check if the aggressive / mob elves at the Bloodriver Outskirts are also called Vertas Elves? I believe so but are currently on mobile only...

 

They are. I have to go back and change them, too.
