The hitching seems as bad or worse than last release. I'm also experiencing what seems to be a slowdown in framerate.. which i haven't had a problem with in many months.

My settings are on "good" which brought the hitching down last release... but doesn't seem to be helping this release.

I was complaining about it for the first 10 seconds of being in Tortuga, then a bunch of trees popped in and it was gone. Is yours consistent after all the scene loads?

Are you still getting the 100% GPU usage?

It does seem to happen as i move and the trees, buildings, npcs load.. but what's odd is that wasn't a problem for me last release.

I haven't checked the gpu.. I'll check that tonight.

On. Ill try it off tonight. It being on has never effected framerate or hitching in the past though.

That doesn't do anything outside of town areas. I'm getting hitching everywhere. I'll turn it off anyhow.

Have you checked the fan on your GPU ? Cause it's pretty smooth here

My GPU seems to be running fine. Just yesterday SotA was playing smoothly (with the occasional hitch) once I reduced my video level to "good". As soon as I logged in to this release today, the hitching and framerate was awful. I don't know if the problem is on my end or not.

This really bad hitching started for me last release and the Unity version hasn't changed for Linux in a long time.

It's unplayable for me this way. Logged in for the first time in a month, after 40 min. I realized I'd rather paint the deck in 90 degree heat. So I did.

My fps seems to have improved since the latest patch but the hitching continues...

My GPU doesn't have a fan (GT1030). Usually hitching is reset by completely quitting and restarting the game client, but lately it only takes a few hours of play for it to become really bad.

My framerates, as well, seem to be higher than before in some places, but the hitching/lag has gotten worse. I think this is the worst that it has ever been. It's a shame. I was hoping that there would at least be some sort of performance issue fixes this release. Oh well.

I would recommend doing individual bug reports, to give it some attention and mark it as an official bug.

Oddly enough my hitching issues seem to be gone this release.

How much VRAM has that thing gotten ?

I still get hitching, mainly when loadign and some very slight hitching when panning around fast on the mainland map, but I feel pretty stunned by the perf improvement overall in this release.
