Got quest from Gus/Automaton. Found mushroom Boletuporis or whatever it's name is. No damage can be done to it with anything I've tried. Seemed there once was a potion or something to use on it given by gus, but that's been taken out of game. My journal doesn't reference it like others long ago did. Anyway to kill this thing? Thanks.

I usually just shoot it with a fire arrow.
Stay away when it dies, it releases spores and they can hurt you.

It's really an easily smashed mushroom for its size. If you're doing no damage something is borked.

Does it not have the ability to get to you? That causes 0 damage player attacks.

    Otherwise try relogging.

Its kinda buggy right now, you gotta stand in the right spot. just put a dot on it if you got one, kill the other stuff and move around till you see it start to take damage.

Kinda silly to have to know how to do that.... This is a quest for the new, right ?
Not sayin' you're wrong, Mac.... but if what you say is true - then it wasn't thought out very well, or tested internally at all......

When it first came out and for a couple months, it was fine. Just something happened.

I just completed this yesterday. Seemed to work alright for me. Couple shots from my bow/arrow. No problem :D

Probably a new anti-exploit fix that caused more of that area to be a "no-no" zone. The general idea is if you stand where the mob can't walk to (like on a rock), and it doesn't have a ranged attack, then your attacks will do zero damage.

Possibly so. I did some tweaks to the area inside the Psilocybin Lair to help there be one continuous pathing grid in there. This should help the enemies avoid getting "stuck" in ways that have them avoiding combat. I think this should help the issues mentioned in this thread.
