How Do I Use Coordinates In Game (Example:Location: 284.0, 40.2, 437.1)?

I see these referred to all the time & all over but ive yet to figure out how to apply them. Ive looked on the map & i dont see any numbers at all, so can someone please explain to me how i can apply them & find my way? Example of what im referring to: Location: 284.0, 40.2, 437.1

There is a /loc text command that you can use to find your current location and adjust from there.

 

Ok ty, but what is or does /loc text command mean, where is it & what do i do with it to use it when i know where it is?

 

You type /loc into the chat box in game.
It will tell you your current coordinates.
Compare these to the location you are trying to get to.
Move in a direction and then /loc again to see if you have gotten closer to your destination.
When your /loc matches the coordinates of your destination, you have arrived!

 

/Loc brings up your current coordinates in a message in your text box and /Loctrack puts the coordinates up in the op left of the screen in very large print. The 3 numbers refer to yourx/y/z coordinates in a given scene

 

@Khalest, I typed /loc into my chat window in game 6 times:



I was in these spots when I did them:

• The First number is North/South
• The Second number is Up/Down
• The Third number is East/West

Loc: (0,0,0) will be the center of the map.

Make sense?
