How do you get the house deed off the lot

I am thinking of trading my current house for another....so i need to have the house deed in hand to do so. How do i get the house off the lot so i can trade it. I always wondered about this. Now i need to know

 

When you activate the marker in front of your lot you can change the house to another house in your inventory, or change it to "no house" which will put the existing house back in your inventory, and any other objects on the lot into your bank.

If you unclaim the lot without removing or changing the existing house, then that existing house (and everything else on the lot) goes to the bank.
