I caught these fish knowing the town was about to disappear...

    I caught these fish hoping I would have something to say these towns existed only to find them labeled like.. that. Is there a way these fish can be identified with the name of the town they were caught in? No reason to mount them on a wall with how they are currently labeled.

    I do have the ability to enjoy some nostalgia..

    I think what probably happened was a pot had a biome change and then that causes that to happen?

    To preserve the name I think you have to mount them. If kept in a trunk or storing them they will loose their name.

    Oh! that's how my chests full of fish have those POT template names. Never could remember fishing in a POT template town but always thought 'No worries Fiero, it's your med's messing your memory up' .

    When A POT disappears its name disappears. so there is no way to identify the name of the town on any caught items from there even if you mount it, it will still say POT example whatever. . .
