I finally killed a Troll!

    OK, it was only in a 2-skull zone (South Broken Road) and the troll was not a "real" troll with regard to difficulty, but he was big and looked mean.:eek:

    I can't deal with confusion :confused:, so it took me a few tries, but I am still proud of myself!

    Grats! I have only killed a handful, but its still a thrill for me. My first one was awesome and I was shaking like a leaf. They remain tricky buggers. :)

    I recently modified my build and last night for the first time 'alone' I also killed a troll in Nightshade Pass.
    Feels good to be progressing.

    Gratz on this, troll hunting is one of my hobbies (when I'm bored and not into too complicated fights for a night). A few tips I can offer you is A : use poisons, Spider preferably, as it slows down its attack speed, so gives you a lot of free attacks. B : Smelling salts in your utility bar. The confusion is the one thing that can get me killed when fighting Trolls, so if you use smelling salts, you snap out of it immediately and then you have an easier time. C : and this one should be obvious but you never know, stay close to it, and try to always get behind it. If you get too far he lobs a boulder at you and I havent figured out a way to avoid that apart from a lucky dodge Proc, and being behind makes him miss you with 2 of his 4 moves (Clap and Sparta kick).
