It seems we're getting a whole month worth of rollback, which means many of us are losing items and decoration that was really hard earned. I myself crafted the perfect 5MW crossbow I was looking for for literally years. The battle with RNG was atrocious but I won. Now I'm losing it? So, I have an idea to compensate for these cases: give us double success rate at MW+E and I'll be able to get my Crossbow back without resorting to Devs looking up items in broken database. I would suggest this change to be permanent, if possible. You guys have other ideas on how to conpensate?
I like the idea. But, not permanently. I think crafting adjustments for 1-2 releases would be good. Maybe it would be better to give everyone a small stack of positions that last a week to adjust those odds when you want them rather them tying them to a release.
I for one am willing to take the hard knocks and just be thankful to the Devs for all the hard work this last week. Perhaps a month of 4X experience rate increase. Any one with documentable real world dollar loss should be refunded. All else is just imaginary world loss and though not easy to give up, sort of balances out the pain.
I spent a sizeable part of my R105 in game time hunting artifacts to make 2 imbued gems for my new crossbow. A limited time 2x artifact drop rate would be appretiated as means to recover the lost progress as well. This one I wouldn't ask to be permanent as it would flood the market with artifacts over time.
Depending on the artifact the gems came from I might be able to scrounge up some for you. I have a lot of artis in storage I won't actually ever use. Otherwise post in shawn's resource recovery thread in general discussion thread and maybe someone else can help.
I really appreciate the offer and willingness to help, but I think that's not up to other players to cover the loss. It would feel like cheating for me for I have resources and the ability to farm the artifact myself. I'm probably grinding the scene for some more days and hope that the salvaging RNG smiles upon me. Another idea to compensate: make uncommon artifact yield imbued gems 75% of the time instead of 50%.
How about giving 5 AL worth of XP to every player? And how about doubling att levels for one release?
a lump large sum of xp will work out better for me. Then I can log on anytime I want for how long I want and use it up. Instead of constrained. Real life gets In the way and I will get screwed out of the xp.
August 24th 0800 CT. XP earned during the period since will be credited to the account as will some type of accounting for gold but the gold will be in a patch sometime after we go live again.
UGh so if it's the same as on QA, I've lost about 5 GM levels, and getting my summoning into the 90's (which is borrrring). Several Crown purchases waiting on sales.. actually had a camera streaming my screen so I could tell my wife what to buy when things came up while i was at work. Got a few things I was needing for my collections. Upgraded a lot deed while lot were on sale Added several people to my friends list And.. loss of purchase through means we're not allowed to talk about in the forum... bwahhhhh
45 days of lost time and effort...hmmmm... how about a non-trade-able Tax Free Place Anywhere Land or Water Castle Lot Deed and maybe we will finally fill most those empty castle lots across Novia that no one can Claim filling those spots you can call them (I survived R106 Castle Lot Deed)
Actually no I already own the equivalent of about 10 Lord of the Manor Pledges I was thinking about what would be worth one of the biggest screw ups in Gaming history
