Finally got it working on Linux. Very happy about this. My question is do I have to keep all my crafting stuff on me in order to craft? I thought I read some where there might be a crafting storage. I can't find it.
As the amount of stuff you can craft in one go is limited, so is the number of items you need to have on you at a time. There is no problem to e.g. take the stuff you need from the bank and walk to the next crafting table even when slightly overencumbered. If you ride, your horse can usually carry a far heavier load than you. And you can even set up your own place (I did it in my village mine) where you could e.g. have a mobile banking device in the middle and your own crafting tables in a circle around it so that you do not have to take one steap from one to the other.
I have two bags .. one has mats (ore, hides, cotton, etc.) , the other has items (coal, wax, etc). I just grab both bags, craft, then throw both in bank. This allows me to craft in any town, although I usually mainly craft in my main house.
