    Is that thing viewable from the Isle of Storms? What does our lead astronomer say about our impending doom?

    I just heard from a guild member that this object might be related to the upcoming "Lost Vale" scene.

    He said it was mentioned on the Community Live Stream on Friday regarding Physical Goods....

    I just went to the Isle of Storms to see if I could get a better look at this thing and I could not see it. Which makes me believe that perhaps the asteroid may be the Isle of Storms itself, maybe??? I am really curious now about this celestial mystery...calling @Bowen Bloodgood :)

    *poof* huh? wha? ehem.. Right..

    Well my first impression when it first appeared was that they added a second lunar core.. a significant change to the sky of course but only a visual one.

    Then it got bigger.

    Now if the speculation is true that it is a asteroid/meteor/moon fragment.. well all I can say is that sucker is freakin' huge for one of those. It's what we'd call a planet killer. Something that big hits New Britannia and it's good bye and thanks for all the fish! Which, if Portalarium were planning a reset, would be totally within Lord British's character to use a world ending event.. (ie end of UO beta anyone?)

    However, in UO we all knew it was coming. As far as I'm aware Portalarium has said nothing specific about any kind of wipe at launch, partial or otherwise. So I'm still pretty skeptical that would happen.

    This is all very true my friend, but could you imagine how insane it would be if this very thing did indeed happen? A completely unexpected "total world kill"...;)

    @Lum the Mad , do the NPC's talk about the asteroid? If not, why not? I saw it on a clear night. You'd think the NPC's would say, "what the Hell is that!?" at the very least. Maybe, "we're all going to die!" Unless it happens all the time, in which case, "psssh, it'll pass."

    The NPCs arent alarmed...this has already happened once before....all the shardfalls around Novia. So with this new event horizon i suspect that new creatures will emerge and try to take over what the Obsidians and cabalists couldnt. A new day will dawn and again all Avatars will have to rise up and combat against even more foes as we face now

    Phase II is starting after release day. This could be the event that creates the new lands. Or it could be the new lands with new monsters. Either way I am looking forward to it!

    What if they really wipe something.
    They could wipe all inventory, except buyed stuff or they could wipe all pooled xp or all skills.
    There is no skill boost potions in the store.
