    Title: Lost all items during nesting bags in inventory
    Reproduction Rate: Twice so far

    Details: Whilst multi-nesting bags from inventory I dragged a bag from the lot directly into a nested bag and encountered an error. On re-logging in I found that all items in the parent bag including the nested bags and items had vanished. They're not on the lot or my inventory and don't appear to be in the bank either.
    Steps to Reproduce:
    1) Open Bag in Inventory
    2) Place several items in that bag,
    3) Drag a container from the lot into the open bag.
    4) Encounter Error
    5) Log out/in
    6) Observe that the container that was on the lot is still in the lot.
    7) Observe all other items that were in the initial inventory bag have now disappeared.

    Details: Double-Clicking Bag in the bank moves the bag to inventory instead of opening the bag. This is new behaviour in build 684 (as are several of these bugs including the inability to leave items in the bank bug).
    Steps to Reproduce:
    1) Open Bank
    2) Double-click Bag
    3) Bag is transferred to inventory (expected behaviour - bag would open so I can see contents)

    This is looking like FIXED as of patch 685.


    Chest bug is still present.

    Reproduction Rate: 100%, tested 10 times.

    Details: Drag a bag from the lot to my inventory (nested in a backpack in my inventory already) cannot open bag.
    Steps to Reproduce: Drag a bag from the lot to inventory (nested in a backpack in my inventory already)
    Try to open bag, it does not open.
    Drag bag in question to the root of my inventory, it opens.
    Drag bag back to the same backpack within inventory, it opens.

    Drag back back to lot
    Drag back back to container within the inventory again, bag doesn't open.

    This happens with both backpacks and bags.

    There's a separate hilarious issue with chests.

    Tried dragging chest full of cooking supplies to my back pack in my inventory.
    The chest now appears on both the chest and on the wall still.

    opened chest on the wall, it counts the weight like 5 times in a row, then disappears from the wall
    Chest is in my inventory in the backpack nested.
    I can no longer drag the chest back to the wall.

    I can only type the character "/" and thus could not /devbug it.


    This is for version
    SotA.QA.Win.64.684.Date.05.21.18
    I'm currently patching to 685.

    Title: Treasure chest 'duping'

    Details: Move cooking suppliest chest to my inventory into a backpack that is in my inventory, chest 'moves' but a copy
    remains on the shelf. Blank prompt appears. (pictured in screenshot)

    The copy on the shelf makes the animation of 'opening' but no window pops up showing the items.
    Double clicking the version in my backpack does nothing. Cannot drag the chest back.
    Since the 685 patch the prompt for typing does not lock when you press / following moving this chest around.

    The original backpack named 'reagents' is now red, after closing said backpack and inventory I cannot open the reagents backpack
    that contains the cooking supplies chest.

    Logging out / back in again resets the chest.

    Steps to Reproduce:

    Put a backpack in your inventory.
    open backpack, drag chest full of items into said backpack.


    Not sure if it matters, but this was in a player owned town, on a village lot using a Viking pavilion house.
    The chest was renamed to "Cooking Supplies".

    As far as i can tell dragging bags and backpacks from the lot that aren't empty works.
    Dragging chests specifically does not.


    It would be less to do with chests and perhaps more to do with the items in the bag / chest.

    I moved a bag with 2 items no problemo.

    If you moved a container from your lot that had items in it already into an open bag in your inventory then that would be counter to what I experienced, chest or bag.

    two items works fine. in the bag. going to try amping it up one by one to see where it bugs out.

    The items allowed were 2 because that is all that was already in the bag.
    After adding one more item it behaves as the others do in lord andernut's post.

    This looks to be fixed on our latest dev build (it has fixes that were checked in earlier today from our devs). So I suspect you'll see this fixed on QA in the next build to release. Probably the one after 685.
    Thank you for breaking down the repro steps the way that you do... it's not only saving us time in getting to the issue, but there is zero confusion on what you were doing exactly at the time. You rock.

    Thank you. I could repro on Dev # is 59280. I got the error log it generated which was TransferItems: source bag is empty

    Title: Possible temporary duping bug.
    Reproduction Rate: 100% 4 times tested.

    Details: Take 2 swords from reagents named bag, place them in tier4 named bag on on the lot.
    open back and all the contents of the reagents back have been duped.

    Steps to Reproduce:
    1. move some items from a nested bag in your inventory to a bag that is stored on the lot.
    2. open bag on the lot (you'll get an error saying the bag is in use.
    3. click ok
    4. try to open back again.
    5. items in original bag have been duped.
    6. items can be moved to another bag.
    7. logged out
    8. logged back in the items are no longer duped.

    Amazing info, once again! The good news is I don't have any questions on what you were doing exactly AND I was not able to repro. Looks like we got this fixed on the brand new dev build. I bet one of the other bug reports addressed this. Fix should be in a build after 685.

    Really good stuff - thank you. I couldn't repro on our brand new dev build (not yet on QA). We did get some bag in use errors fixed recently so this is probably why I am no longer seeing it in our internal build. Definitely glad I checked. Appreciate it. Should be fixed on the build after 685 which is now live on QA for players.

    Title: Errors placing items into the 4th level deep nested small bag that is in an Antique Drawer Table placed on a lot.
    Reproduction Rate: repro'ed 5 times (100%)

    Steps to Reproduce:

    Note: did not get an error putting the nested small bag into the table.

    1. Tried putting a banana in the 4th level deep nested small bag. Got the error: Server:AddInteractionLogEntry: Item [long UID number] not found.
    2. Banana shows properly placed in the correct nested bag
    3. Relog
    4. Banana still shows properly placed in the correct nested bag
    5. Drag banana back into inventory and get the error but shows banana properly moved.
    6. If I drag the banana from my inventory to the table container (not the nested bag), there is no error and it moves correctly.

    7. If I pickup the Antique Drawer Table, put it in my inventory, open it as a container, and open the nested small bag, then add the banana, I get the following error: Server:TransferItems: LoadBag(description: "destBag"): failed to load bag (NoMatchFound). The banana then turns red and is non-interactive.

    We're going to do a new migration from live to QA shortly so please hold off on reporting any other bugs on this, for now. I'll respond when we're in the clear. It shouldn't be too long.

    The reason for this is because we are noticing that a few bugs that are fixed are not retroactively fixed. So until we get that prior bad data cleared you may still see bugs that are indeed fixed. This would skew with testing.

    The migration is starting shortly. By this evening it will be complete at the very latest, but it looking like it will be mid-afternoon CDT. Look for the new download to hit and you'll know :) It's gonna copy live over again and be more up to date.

    As of build QA-690, all bags-within-bags issues have been resolved. If you encounter a new issue with bags-within-bags, please post immediately because we don't know about it!
