    Here we go.

    Using late 2012 27" iMac. 8gb, 2,9 quad core i5, Geforce GTX660M 512mt.

    1. The game is choppy. Everything above "fastest" plays really bad. It does not matter, if you play single player online or multiplayer. Didn't bother testing on my mid 2012 MBP, because...

    2. Changing towns crashes on load a lot. Only force quitting the app helps.

    3. Drop menus won't close after choosing a value. They can only be closed by clicking the triangle on top.

    4. Fullscreen resolution is always max, so you can't play the game on lower resolutions when choosing the option.

    5. Graphics are getting better. Main problem is that the menus don't "sit" well with the rest. Also some effects still give grab a huge amount of processing power from the graphics card.

    6. Weird rainbow-graphic effects at times.

    7. Everything is broken, doors are open, chests are empty... It's the World of Vandalists!!

    8. I REALLY, REALLY would like the camera to turn when turning the character with the keyboard. Sometimes I just don't want to touch the mouse!
EDIT: Just noticed that the camera turns with q&e -keys. Great!

    9. How do you remove items from shopping list? This isn't really clear.

    10. Not all windows in shopping are movable. The OK-window for example does not seem to move.

    11. Capes go through backs.

    12. Selected characters don't always show as selected. Still hoping for a selection marker on TOP of the NPCs.

    13. Random crashes on area changes.

    14. At night time, there are white graphical errors with far-away objects.

That's it for now. My main problem with the game is currently the low FPS. The game is SLOOOOOOOOooooooOOOOOOOwWwwWWww.... ;)

I'm also a mac user - my fps is fine. The only thing that does annoy me is the mouselook

Which graphics card does your Mac have?

There's just nothing in this game that justifies the low fps. I KNOW it will get better, but right now the game plays slow, now matter what.

Just checked the processes, and SotA takes above 140% of processing power! Sheesh!

Though, for some reason(?) the newest release (P4) does run much faster than P3.

It ran really well on my setup:
    MacBook Pro 17-inch, Late 2011
Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7
    Memory: 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB
    Software: OS X 10.9.1 (13B42)

    I have a mid 2010 iMac with 3.06 GHz i3. 8GB of memory and ATI Radeon HD 4670 256MB.
The game runs poorly, both in R2 and R3. It's so choppy that it's almost unplayable. Do I just not have the processor and graphics card to run it? I tried running it in Parallels, but the virtual machine overhead kept that running slowly, too. I don't have Boot Camp set up on this computer.

Is there any hope for me in the future with my current computer?

I played on a new IMac with 3.4 ghtz processor, 8 MB RAM, and GF 770 graphics. The game, for being unoptimized, played great.

My issues were not graphics, but other problems. I could not leave owl's head for example. The teleporter always locked at 26% on multiple tries on multiple days.

I agree on the mouse look.
