Improving Roving Encounters...

    For Bandits, give them a "bandit base". Have them walk from the base to the main roads during the day.

    Have skeletons come from a dark area on the overland map and attack at night.


    Allow players to find the base of the bandits to temporarily stop the road encounters. Allow players to find where the skeletons are coming from and temporarily stop the road encounters.

    This would be much more compelling game play.

    Yes! I would be fine for the 1st iteration of roving encounter base/spawner locations to be the clones of siege scenes.

    Well yea :D

    If only this could be tied to adventure scenes, too, so you could 'clear' an elf camp until reinforcements (patrols) arrived.
