In-game mode switch: working as intended?

    The new in-game online game mode switch should keep your current location in the scene after you reload the scene, which is what happens when you switch modes by exiting the game and changing game modes and then resuming.

    Right now, when you switch game modes in-game, you get sent back to the scene entrance.

    This is especially annoying (or exploitable) on the overworld map. Here's how: when you first boot up the game, start on the world map. Then run to another spot on the world map and change modes and you warp back to the point where you started.

    This is probably an issue. I bet it works as follows which is causing the problem.

    Login first time and there is a saved location that game spawns you in.
    Old method logout, which saves your current location, then log back in with new mode place you in that updated save location.
    New method you never logout, so it never saves current location, so you spawn back in the last known saved spot.

    While you are correct, that is probably exploitable, this does decrease the desirability of using mode-switching to force-repop bosses and the like (by the time you get back, they have generally repopped anyway). Maybe leave it this way in a scene, and make an exception for novia/hidden vale?
