[Info needed] 18 ! Shogun Wall lights in room and the middle is still dark

Details: I have 18 ! Shogun Wall lights in this room (ground floor Shgun3-Story Keep - village Home and the middle of the room is still dark (in R44 it was almost overpowering light in here)
Steps to Reproduce: go to the room at the location and stay ther for the night

it seems there was a cut in reach for the light perimeter in this release

Moved to player housing. You are only seeing this with the shogun wall lights, is that right? You may not have any other lights to test with but on one hand this sounds specifically for this light fixture, on the other hand, sounds like it could possibly be widespread for you. Just an FYI there were no intended changes to light for optimization so we have a bug here somewhere.

 

they ARE pretty localized, but that's not necessarily a bug. they always have been. i have the same lights in the same house (though fewer of them) specifically because i like it dark. i'd rather you made a shogun ceiling light with a wider spread one could put in the center of the room than make the existing ones brighter, myself.

 

@Lexie in R44 the room was really bright at night

so i tried to to other wall lights (Diagonal Muntin Wall Light)in here but now i have the bug that the light can't be placed directly out of the bank (it hangs on my cursor now, as already mentioned in another thread and i can't place it, and all left mouse clicks ar eblocked in the world (in windows of the game e.g.friendslist or chat it works again but not in world interaction....)
exiting to menu....
...resuming...
and now i try to drag it into my backpack before placing it

ok same error, can't place it, it shows green but no

will try relogging...

Details:trying to place a new wall light out of the bank or the backpack leads to the bug that the cursor can't release it and no worldinteractions with left mouse are possible

@Lexie did a complete restart of the game but the same error happens again, I am not able to place other wall lights to test

@Alley Oop if u teach me the recipe or were i can get one for the shogun ceiling light i would be happy to add this in here


and for immersion i would like to have the already built in small shogun wall lights for the intern walls HINT HINT

and here is the screen for the not placeable wall light and see the intern counter are all yellow but state the correct amount of items/containers/lights

and now its a blocker for me which is only resolvable through relogging, because i can't open doors with the wall light hanging to my left mouseclick and no 'E' doesn't work either ...

 

@Rentier ugh, you are getting hit with another bug we are working on, with items getting stuck to the cursor...
Let's hold off for now and we can re-visit. I'm seeing the behavior to be the same with this light, but if we figure something out I can submit.

 

@Lexie 656 fixed the light hanging onto the cursor bug (for me at least)

but placing the Diagonal Muntin Wall Light didn't increase the brightness off the room in the middle.

and placing glowing mushrooms(not the potted ones) didn't work inside the house
